As the weather gets warmer day by day, we draw closer to spring, and with that comes spring fashion & makeup!
There were so many interesting looks during the Spring 2011 Fashion Week, I've decided to showcase four that made repeated appearances.
Not so sure if you are loving these trends? Let's take a better look at how to apply them individually...

Blush | | |
Contrary to popular belief, a cool pink blush can work with a warm lip tone & will work especially well with a nude lip. Using pink will translate fresh & youthful. It can also be vibrant and lively for those adventurers who aren't afraid to try bright shades.
|
Eye Shadow |
Lavender, plum, lilac. These purple shades were seen all over the runways, from Cynthia Rowley to Etro to Victoria Beckham. Here the color has been blended up to the brow bone and extends beyond the lower lash line. The look can be scaled down, made lighter, or darker. No matter how you wear it, this look is hypnotic and dramatic. A softer alternative to the intensity of a black smokey eye. & universally flattering! As purples compliment every eye color.
|
Nails |
With all the bright colors and busy prints this spring, skin-toned polish will coordinate effortlessly. If you have a warm skin tone use a yellow based hue, cool tones should stick to pink based neutrals & darker tones work best with beige shades.
|
Lips |
Orange kissers were popping at Christian Dior, Fendi & Marni among others. Orange can be a fresh alternative to the classic red lip. Lighter tones try coral-pinks, deeper tones go for red-orange, & golden/olive tones can experiment with bright shades.
Now you are set to take on spring! If only it would just hurry and get here :)
